The race

Full name: Dangjin Golden Field Health Marathon 2026
Date and start: Sunday, October 11, 2026, 08:00Registration from 07:00. The course closes at 12:00.

Entry fee and dates

Fee: KRW 50,000The same for all three distances. The race is run on entry fees alone, without a city subsidy.

Prizes

Total put up: KRW 20,000,000Covers the placings, the lucky draw and the finisher vouchers together — not prize money alone
Places paid: 30
Range: KRW 1,000,000 for first down to KRW 100,000 for fifth
Lucky draw: Awarded to entrants holding certain entry numbers
Every finisher: A Dangjin gift voucher

Athletes registered with the Korea Association of Athletics Federations are excluded from the placings. If fewer than 1,000 runners enter, the organiser may adjust the prize money and will announce any change.

Race numbers and timing chips

Numbers and chips are posted to the address on your entry in early October. If fewer than 1,000 runners enter, they are handed out at the start area on race morning instead, sorted by distance.

Groups and families

Clubs and companies bringing 20 or more runners are given a team tent in the start area. Send the organiser one spreadsheet with the full list.
Families entering together should still enter one by one — shirt sizes are taken per person. One person may pay for everyone in a single transfer.

Alongside the race

The finish area holds a local festival on race morning: performances by Dangjin performers and a farmers' market selling produce from the surrounding fields.
